RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to inform decision-making and optimize procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing and budget adherence.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes, fostering positive vendor relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and industry suppliers.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
