RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and specifications.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to inform decision-making and optimize procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment processing and budget adherence.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes, fostering positive vendor relationships.

 

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiation.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and industry suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
