RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and assess procurement needs for engineering projects.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, considering technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, conduct technical evaluations, and negotiate contracts for engineering materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements in procurement activities.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and technological advancements to inform procurement decisions.
  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to define technical specifications for procurement.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of procurement activities, contracts, and technical documentation.
  • Resolve technical issues with suppliers and contribute to the resolution of project-related challenges.

 

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer, particularly in the construction or engineering sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with attention to technical details.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software, technical documentation, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous commitment to staying informed about industry trends and best practices in procurement and engineering.
